  • This game is in early development (currently alpha testing).
    • Bugs and general lack of polish should be expected.
  • Each dungeon run is a stand-alone experience with randomized layouts and monster encounters. Each run takes roughly 15-20 minutes to complete.

  • The game is designed to be challenging, You may not win on your first attempt. Good luck!

Objective: Acquire as much gold as possible and escape the dungeon via the stairs in the final room. But beware, the monsters guarding the exit will no doubt be your greatest challenge!

Controls:

Quite good!  I like that most battles can be beat without spending resources if you think long enough but the boss battles require you to take damage and/or use items even with optimal play. The random encounters are a little weird, though-- they give gold and cost nothing so it seems like you could get infinite gold by running in circles next to the exit staircase farming random encounters.

Thanks, Xyncht! I'll take a look at this. The intention is definitely that the random encounters chip away at you slowly until you run out of health and ultimately have to exit the dungeon (or lose).

The Goblin Caves are designed to be the first area a player goes into and, thus, is a bit easier, so I'm curious if you had the same experience (felt like you could grind random encounters infinitely) in the Crypts, given that it's designed to be harder.

Thanks again for playing and leaving feedback - I really appreciate it!

Yeah, the Crypt isn't the same way.  You have to lose hp on basically every fight unless you're using an item.
